Car enthusiasts looking forward to finally placing their orders for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro now have a date to mark on their calendars, and it is August 13.

According to a reportedly official document acquired by CamaroNews, Chevrolet will begin taking orders for the car on that date. In addition, August 13 almost looks to be the date when Chevrolet will also officially begin production on their line of 2016 Camaros.

Ever since being officially unveiled in June, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro has been the subject of a lot of hype within the car industry. It is worth noting that even though the August 13 date supposedly comes from an official document, Chevrolet has yet to actually confirm when they will begin taking orders for the car.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro promises to have a ton of new features that car lovers can easily get excited about.

First off, the car will feature a fully electronic convertible top that can be activated either through the key fob or by pushing the overhead console button.

The car also features a high-tech command center, which drivers can use to take full control of the vehicle and navigate in the way they are comfortable with. The car's steering wheel features a flat bottom combined with kneepads, high-performance seats, and instinctively placed shifter that are all designed to help make the drivers more comfortable, according to the official Chevrolet web site

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro also features a lightweight body, even lighter than its predecessor, combined with a slimmer profile allowing it to attain higher speeds while on the road.

The newest Camaro model also comes with lighting options. With the interior spectrum lighting going around the cockpit of the car, drivers can push a simple button and start their very own light show inside their car.
