Ciara supports Russell Wilson's football game at AMAs red carpet
Despite rumors and criticism from football fans, Ciara and Russell Wilson appear to be going stronger than ever as the two continue to support each other in their respective careers. Recently, Ciara revealed how she manages to keep track of her boyfriend's games even though she's at an event, proving that while she's focused on her career, she still finds a way to show her support for Wilson.
At the American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 22, the singer walked the red carpet solo as Wilson was currently in the middle of a Seahawks game against the San Francisco 49ers. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier and Jeannie Mai, the 30-year-old revealed that she's using the Seahawks app to stay updated on the game.
"Listen, I am multitasking right now! I am a woman of ambition on a mission, and I am definitely checking in," Ciara told Frazier and Mai at the AMAs carpet in Los Angeles. "I got the Seahawks app live and going, and it's looking good, too. They scored very early in the game, and they're going strong!" she added.
It was reported that on Sunday, the Seahawks beat the 49ers 29-13. The News Tribune reports that Wilson had the most accurate passing performance of his career at the game—24 for 29 with three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the singer was also asked whether she knew if Wilson would be proposing soon, but Ciara said that perhaps the question should be directed to the quarterback.
"Isn't that a guy conversation? You talk to the guy about that stuff, right?" she said.
The couple made headlines earlier this year when Wilson admitted that they are staying celibate and that God told him to "lead" his girlfriend. The pair made their debut as a couple at a White House state dinner last April, and since then, they have been seen side by side at numerous events. Last month, Wilson even threw a super-hero themed surprise party for his girlfriend and this month, the two went on a Mexican getaway with Ciara's son, Future Jr.
There are rumors that Wilson might be popping the question soon to the "1, 2 Step" singer, but the quarterback has yet to comment on the engagement rumors.
