Cathy Nesbitt-Stein's dream of returning for the sixth season of "Dance Moms" will not be realized, as producers remain mum on her appeal to rejoin Lifetime's reality series.

The International Business Times reports that the chances of Nesbitt-Stein's comeback with daughter Vivi-Anne in the upcoming installment appear nil. Their obvious interest in the show has reportedly been met with silence from the execs. Speculations that the strict dance coach will be replacing Abby Lee Miller started after news regarding the latter's leaving the show surfaced.

Nesbitt-Stein has been very vocal in her interest to return to the reality series after taking a hiatus in season 5. In an interview, she said that she would be willing to appear on the TV dance show, if Miller would allow it and if production could find a way to film closer to her studio.

"I would love, love, love to come back to the show. I absolutely enjoy doing it. If they could do something that they could come back here, I would definitely be very interested participating with them."

She and Vivi-Anne were catapulted to fame after joining the series back in 2011. In season 5, however, they begged off from their post, citing busy schedules as reason. Nesbitt-Stein explained that she wanted to focus on her business back in Canton, Ohio. In their exit, Lifetime replaced them with rival Jeanette Cota of Broadway Dance Academy in Fenton, Mich. and her daughter, Ava.

She did say, however, that most of the dance moms were not happy with the casting switch. According to the coach, while Cota was a great dance teacher, some of their clients preferred her to teach them. As it was, the production had to do what they had to do, considering they had no hope of convincing Nesbitt-Stein to stay back then.
