'Dancing With The Stars' 2014 season 19 cast, partners: Week 6 is Pitbull Week, cast back with original partners
During the Week 5 Switch-Up, newly-paired up contenders grooved to varying dance styles, but the segment did not entail any elimination. However, in the sixth week of "Dancing With the Stars," a couple will be booted out of the DWTS dance floor for good.
Performances on Week 5 put Sadie Robertson and Alfonso Ribiero on top of the score boards while placing Michael Waltrip and Jonathan Bennett on a precarious position. But since the couples' fate is in the hands of the fans, there is always a chance that an unexpected verdict would arise.
The contenders are now back with their original partners, and it will be interesting to see the difference of the pairs' performances after performing with a professional dancer other than the one they got used to grooving with.
The new week will be graced by singer, Pitbull, who will have so much power over the show in the upcoming week. Pitbull will not only judge alongside Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. The singer has also prepared a "steamy performance" of his hit single "Fireball." On top of that, the nine remaining couples will perform stellar dance routines to the hip hop king's singles.
So far, couples have been tasked to execute different dance routines for the new week. Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas will do rumba, while Tommy Chong is back with Peta Mutragoyd for some foxtrot dancing. Lea Thompson is once again paired with Artem Chigvintsev for a salsa performance, and couple Antonio Sabato Jr. and Cheryl Burke will rock the same dance routine.
Bethany Mota and Derek Hough will have Tango. Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy (who are not a romantic couple as the former confirms) will attempt an intensified dance chemistry with a samba routine. However, Michael Waltrip with Emma Slater and Alfonso Ribiero with Witney Carson will surprise everyone with still unknown dance routines.
The new week for "Dancing With The Stars" season 19 will air on Monday, Oct. 20.
