Grammy Awards 2014 Winners & Results - Daft Punk wins big with Album and Record of the Year

The 56th annual Grammy Awards will take place Jan.26, 2014. Grammys

The 2014 Grammy Awards took place at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles last night.

The star-studded event featured performances from the world's most talented artists such as Madonna, Taylor Swift, Jay Z and Beyonce, and more.

The winners and results of the 2014 Grammys were finally revealed after a two month wait since the nominations were revealed.

This year, Jay Z led the list of nominations with nine nods, followed by Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Lewis, Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake, who have all received seven nods each.

This year's highly anticipated performance which viewers were most excited for is power couple Jay Z and Beyonce's duet. The pair opened the Grammys with a performnace of  "Drunk in Love."

Lorde, the 17-year-old teen from New Zealand won the prestigious Song of the Year Grammy. Nominees for Song of the Year were Pink ft Nate Ruess' "Just Give Me a Reson," Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven," Katy Perry's "Roar," Lorde's "Royals," and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft. Miranda Lambert's "Same Love."
