Gadget fans who enjoy bringing portable devices everywhere, either for work or for play, are still waiting to hear the announcements from tech giants Apple and Microsoft about the release of their highly anticipated products, the iPad Pro and the Surface Pro 4, respectively. 

A lot of tech enthusiasts have been expecting that Microsoft would unveil the much-awaited Surface Pro 4 during its latest series of announcements, but the device did not make an appearance.  At any rate, BGR revealed that the product will still come out later this year. 

Based on early speculations, the Surface Pro 4 would come out in July, but Inquisitr deems that the hybrid product will not come out until October, around the same time that Windows 10 is unveiled.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will reportedly come out in 12-inch and 14-inch variants, wherein the smaller model will be equipped with a Broadwell chip under the hood and the larger one will have the Intel i5 and i7 processors. It will also feature 1 TB storage space, an 8-megapixel primary rear facing camera and a 3.5-megapixel secondary camera in front. 

On the other hand, the long-running speculations about the alleged development of the iPad Pro continue to keep rumor mills busy even though Apple Inc has not yet confirmed if such product really exists. Word is that the iPad Pro will come out with a 12.9-inch display, which means that it will be the biggest tablet that the company will ever produce. It will also be equipped with the latest A9 processor with 4 GB of RAM as well as 11,000 mAh battery. It will also come in several variants like the 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB options. Other unique features that will reportedly come out with the iPad Pro include the Force Touch trackpad, NFC Radio, as well as a Bluetooth Stylus.

If the rumors are true, then both upcoming tablet devices are definitely worth looking forward to.
