Last week, in the premiere of "Married at First Sight" season 3, six individuals were matched and two pairs got into legally binding marriages after meeting each other for the first time. The show's experts, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, sexologist Dr. Logan Levkoff, and spiritual advisor Greg Epstein paired off the following people:

Neil Bowlus, 31 and Samantha Role, 30

According to Heavy.com, Nick was a bit wary of getting married at first sight and even told the show that he has arranged marriages in the family. Meanwhile, Samantha is a bank branch manager who loves dogs. The experts matched them because both of them are "really bright" and "well educated," and on the show's official Facebook page, many fans thought that the two might have the best chance of making it as both of them seemed quirky and a little awkward, and some pointed out that they were compatible because they have similar backgrounds.

"I think these two are going to do great," said one Facebook commenter, while another said that their "creative quirkiness" might be the key to a lasting marriage for them.

David Norton, 29 and Ashley Doherty, 30

David is described as a huge sports fan and has had many relationships that didn't work out. Ashley is a social worker-turned-nurse who dreams of having a family soon.

This week, the two are about to meet for the very first time at their wedding. Last week, David made a sweet gesture by sending a note to Ashley's parents promising both of them that he will commit to the marriage, while Ashley sent David a watch as a pre-wedding gift.

On social media, many seemed to think that this match wouldn't work because Ashley seemed to be guarded about the whole thing, while David seemed to be a bit more open about the experience.

"This match seems very off to me," says one fan, while another said that the show might "turn them into another Jamie and Doug."

Tres Russell, 27 and Vanessa Nelson, 27

Tres used to play college basketball and now works in the luxury car business while Vanessa is a corporate events manager. Last week, the experts matched them because they thought that they will instantly be attracted to one another. At the ceremony, both Tres and Vanessa openly admired each other as Tres thought that Vanessa was beautiful while Vanessa certainly liked what she saw.

Many fans agreed that Tres and Vanessa are a good match as both of them were very enthusiastic with the idea of marriage, but last week's episode ended with a cliffhanger as Tres blurted out that he needed a minute just as Vanessa was about to say her vows.

"Married at First Sight" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on FYI.
