Microsoft Surface Pro 4 vs Surface Pro 3 comparison, specs review: New device looks and performs better than Pro 3?

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has been doing well ever since it entered the market more than a year ago. Apparently, the market has embraced the entirely new concept of offering a two-in-one tablet/laplet computer, and folks are eager to see what the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 can offer to top its predecessor.

If rumors hold true, the answer to all that could very well come next month at the earliest. This is because there is no word on whether the Surface Pro 4 will really debut alongside the Windows 10 or follow afterwards.

Regardless, it seems that with the price drops on the Surface Pro 3, the successor will eventually come out before the year ends. But what will it have to offer that is better than, and improve on in, the Surface Pro 3?

It is believed that buyers will now have choices once the Surface Pro 4 comes out. It will be available in 12-inch and 14-inch displays (2140x1440 pixels) and possibly come armed with the more powerful Skylake processor from Intel instead of the earlier rumored Broadwell chips backed by 16GB or RAM.

The Surface Pro 4 will also have a larger storage capacity (1 terrabye) than the Surface Pro 3 which, at best, has 512GB. It may also come with a better camera than the Surface Pro 3 (8MP), though nothing has been bared yet in this area. The battery remains up in the air but hopefully, it will at least be a little better than what the Surface Pro 3 had, which could last for about 10 hours).

The Surface Pro 4 is also expected to come out with the latest Windows 10 OS. Other than that, it seems pretty clear that the Surface Pro 4 is expected to outdo the Surface Pro 3 on the inside as well as the outside, with a different kind of look.
