The Storybrooke may be welcoming the birth of another fairy tale baby, and it will be the child of newly reunited couple Rumple (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) in "Once Upon a Time."

During the midseason finale, Rumple became the hero he had always wanted to be for his ladylove. Belle was happy for him and the pair reunited. She learned that he chose to keep her safe before the Dark Ones that Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) summoned from Hell could take over the town. Things were starting to look good for the two of them, until a major twist was revealed.

Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and the others discovered that Rumple tricked everyone to steal all the magic from the Dark Ones. He gave Emma a fake dagger and Hook's sacrifice was all for nothing. Thoroughly angry, Emma told Rumple that if he would not accompany her to the Underworld to bring back Hook, she would tell Belle exactly what her lover has done.

Rumple has no choice but to agree, or else he will lose Belle all over again. The second half of season 5 is expected to explore this storyline and explain why Rumple lied to everyone and wanted to be the Dark One again. A new twist, however, can complicate things for the pair, as de Ravin is reportedly expecting her first child with writer/director boyfriend, Eric Bilitch.

The actress revealed the happy news last October 2015, and since the showrunners have confirmed that she will still be in the series, fans are expecting that her pregnancy will be incorporated into the storyline. This has happened before, when Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays Snow White, got pregnant with her first child with husband and co-actor Josh Dallas. That was how Prince Neal was introduced in the series.

Executive Producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz refused to confirm the change of plot to TV Line, though. They said that viewers would have to wait for the rest of the season to see what's going to happen.

"One way or the other, something's gonna get done. We're very, very happy for Emilie, and the only thing we can say is that Eddy and I promise not to deliver the baby," the executive producers said.

"Once Upon a Time" season 5 will return on March 6, 2016 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

It might just be me, but amongst all the myriad and somewhat valid objections raised, including by Christians, to "Assisted Dying" (read "Doctors Killing Patients" or "Doctors Helping Patients to Kill Themselves"), I haven't really seen the most important, indeed the all-decisive, one.
