Rebecca St. James Hosts SHE Conference
|TOP|Internationally renowned Christian artist Rebecca St. James will host a music/conference tour in the U.S. called "SHE", based on her groundbreaking book.
Happening in October from Florida to Michigan, evenings will draw a cross-generational teaming of mothers and daughters, as St. James will celebrate the beauty of becoming a total ‘SHE' woman- Safe, Healthy and Empowered -in every season of life.
Joining St. James on the conference stage is her mentor, Evie Tornquist, an award winning Christian singer whose career throughout the seventies and eighties inspired millions of record sales and an enduring international following. Now married with two grown up children, Evie has been both an inspiration and close personal friend and role model to the younger Australian born St. James who herself is no stranger to the term ‘role model'.
“We talk about the things women care about from finding their purpose and security in God, to mentoring, to communicating more effectively with each other - whether teen to parent - or friend to friend," notes St James.
"It's not unusual for Bec and me to see teens and pre-teens coming with their mums, or more mature ladies coming in groups. We have the welcome mat out to all ‘the girls' to come sit with us at the feet of Jesus as we celebrate the real beauty of womanhood that the world too often tries to take away," adds Tornquist.
|AD|An outspoken voice for her generation, St. James has taken her stand for purity onto concert stages all over the world. Her best selling single Wait For Me inspired both a best selling book and a message that she has used to passionately inspire an entire generation of young people.
St. James has most recently added ‘best selling author' to her credits. Her latest book, SHE TEEN on which the event was built, was this summer honoured by Christian book publishers as a nominee finalist as Book Of The Year for youth/young adults. Her presentation of ministry, music, and message offers a special emphasis on communication between teen girls and their mothers - a theme found in the pages of St. James' most recent book and close to her heart as a communicator.
As witnessed from the packed audiences on this spring's schedule of SHE events, this year's autumn
conference series will provide a much anticipated opportunity for women to celebrate the chance to connect with God, their common interests, and each other.
