Selena Gomez back at church, 'hearts' Hillsong
Selena Gomez shared her love for the Hillsong crew on her Instagram after taking part in one of their services on Sunday.
The "Come & Get It" singer is a practising Christian and appeared to have taken part in a Hillsong LA service on Sunday.
She shared a picture with her Instagram followers of Hillsong LA pastor Reed Bogard on stage with the worship team.
She also gave a shout out to her good friends Ashley Cook and Vanessa Hudgens in her post: "Happy Sunday! @Ashley_cook @vanessahudgens n Austin!"
Gomez has recently shared several Bible verses with her Twitter followers, including Colossians 3.23: "In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing it for the Lord, not for people."
And Psalm 46.10: "Be still and know that I am God. I will be praised in all the nations; I will be praised throughout the earth."
The previous Sunday she was at The Potter's House, the Dallas church headed by TD Jakes.
In a post on Instagram, she thanked him for his "unbelievable message", saying it had had her "in tears".
Faith and friends seem to have become an anchor for Gomez as she gets over another reported split from her on-off boyfriend Justin Bieber.
The two were both fans of church and were spotted at a Hillsong LA service just last month, sitting in the front row for a sermon by Bieber's good friend Pastor Carl Lentz.
Gomez spoke warmly of her friend Taylor Swift in an appearance on The Talk show in which she shared the good advice Swift had given her about the people she should surround herself with.
"She [Swift] was actually at my house the other day, and we were sitting by the fire and I was talking about relationships and business in my life," she said.
"She just kind of looked at me and was like, 'Selena, if you're the smartest person in the room, I think you're going to be in the wrong room.'
"She thinks I should constantly surround myself with people who are going to make me better, that are going to challenge and motivate me."
