'The 100' season 4 spoilers: No romance for Clarke yet?
A relationship might be the least concern for Clarke (Eliza Taylor) in "The 100" season 4. Taylor herself said that a romance might be down the line, but next year might not be the time for it.
Clarke just lost Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) right after they consummated their relationship. It was a death that shook "The 100" fandom and one that definitely impacted Clarke.
"It would be nice for her to have some sort of romance at some point, but I don't know if it's going to happen, to be honest," Taylor told Zap2it.
The actress has also been very adamant to point out that Clarke is not ready for new love yet. What she had with Clarke was special, and "The 100" season 4 might see her reeling from that.
In an interview with TV Guide a few months back, Taylor said that "it's going to take a long time to grieve and to move forward. And I want to allow her that time."
She also showed uncertainty as to when romance will come to her life again, but she did say that "The 100" season 4 is likely not going to be the stage for that.
"I don't know if she will love again. I don't know if that is a possibility for her, given what she's just been through," the actress told the audience of the Oz Comic-Con.
That being said, romance will not be for Clarke in "The 100" season 4. This makes sense especially because she has to deal with the aftermath of taking down ALIE (Erica Cerra).
The evil Artificial Intelligence revealed that Clarke's choice to flip the switch and end the battle will result to the beginning of the planet's death.
It is unknown if ALIE was telling the truth, but it is rumored that her words will come to fruition in "The 100" season 4 so Clarke will be very busy saving a whole planet.
"The 100" season 4 premieres early next year on The CW.
