'The Walking Dead' season 5: More characters expected as Beth spotted filming on set

The Walking Dead season 4 finale AMC

The fifth season of "The Walking Dead" may add more characters in the cast, according to series' actor Norman Reedus.

Norman Reedus plays the role of Daryl Dixon in the series and he revealed some spoilers on what fans can expect in the upcoming fifth season of the hit zombie TV show.

Looks like viewers still can't get enough of those post-apocalyptic, zombie-riddled scenarios that appear on the big screen.

"These scripts are the best scripts so far, and I'm really just excited to be back at it. There are a lot of characters right now, so there are a lot of really different personalities on set. And it's super interesting, everyone's really bringing it. It's going great. It's so dynamic because it's so fast-paced and so complicated. It's great to be back," Reedus told Entertainment Weekly.

The actor also revealed that his character and Rick will be back next season. Moreover, Scott M. Gimple will return as the series executive producer for season 5. Reedus commended Gimple for being good at his job saying that he is a great storyteller and a good writer.

The actor also said that he thinks that Gimple has everything planned out until the end - although none of these plans were made public.

Meanwhile, one of the possible characters coming back to the series is Beth. The Spoiling Dead Fans revealed that the same vehicle that once kidnapped Beth was spotted in the taping location of the series.

This could mean that Beth will be returning to the series. However, there were reports that the car can be Father Gabriel's, the one who rescued Beth. It seemed that fans will have to wait until the season 5 is aired to confirm which is which.

"The Walking Dead" season 5 will be back on air in October on AMC.
