Wrestlemania 32: 'The Rock' could appear but likely on a limited capacity
Wrestlemania 32 needs all the help it can get to fill up the Dallas Cowboys Stadium and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson could be one, although it is unlikely he will don his tights for the annual World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event.
With filming for the "Baywatch" movie set to take place between March and April 2016, it seems that Johnson will be too busy to take some time to get back in the ring, reported Wrestlingnews.co.
Other than that, the last thing Johnson (and film producers) would want is risk seeing the "People's Champion" getting injured, hence dousing all hopes of seeing The Rock in action for Wrestlemania 32.
It was earlier rumored that The Rock could be competing at Wrestlemania 32 and he would be going up against Triple H. But with word of the conflict in schedule, all that has technically been scrapped.
But it doesn't completely count out Johnson as one of those showing up at the event. He could make an appearance similar to Wrestlemania 31 where he took the ring alongside fellow "Furious 7" star Ronda Rousey.
Although he did get some slaps from Stephanie McMahon at the time, everyone knows the excitement Johnson brings.
There could be a segment close to that, perhaps even allowing him to plug in his next film or seeing him speak yet again against the McMahons or the Authority.
If not, he could make an appearance of sorts to help out his cousin Roman Reigns who is ironically rumored to be facing Triple H.
In short, the presence of The Rock at the event is pretty much welcome, no matter how short it could be.
As far as the WWE is concerned, they may have to consider other old WWE faces to help out for the said event.
Right now, the only ones who seem to be sure to have matches are Reigns, Triple H, John Cena, and The Undertaker. Brock Lesnar is likely to be booked as well and, as reported by PWMania, it is speculated that he may be matched against the Wyatt Family.
