Xiaomi Mi Note Pro release date May 12 for China market
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has long been introduced but it was only recently that the Chinese company officially lifted the veil off the powerful device. The manufacturer will be ready to launch its new offering in its home fort as early as May 12.
Needless to say, the Xiaomi Note Pro is of redoubtable build and is an impressive feat. If there is someone entitled to say with pride the words "you've seen nothing yet," it's Xiaomi. While the Mi Note is already powerful, its bigger kin is one that's even more impressive.
The device has a Quad HD 2.5D curved (top portion) display rendering 2560 x 1440 pixels. This makes the visual quality of the Mi Note Pro crisp, sharp and beautiful. The phablet is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor that is slightly better than the ones in other flagship phones.
Xiaomi claims that it has a tweaked version of the hottest Qualcomm processor and this gives the device the edge when it comes to performance. To prove that this is no-nonsense, Xiaomi released benchmark results that show the Mi Note Pro besting the HTC One M9 and the LG G Flex 2.
In addition, the device has 4 GB of RAM onboard as well as 64 GB storage, making it all the more potent. The phablet also features a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera that has optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash. It has a 4-megapixel shooter on the front for taking selfies.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro's 3090 mAh battery can be charged for up to 70 percent in just an hour, thanks to the integrated fast charging technology. Its hardware-optimized Hi-Fi audio that promises fantastic audio quality is also a treat.
Users in China will be able to purchase the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro for CNY 2999, which translates to $483.
