H3 Festival 2004
H3 Festival 2004 took place from Friday 2nd July til 4th July at Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes. It proved to be a great opportunity to bring many talented contemporary Christian music artists and bands together.
The Festival opened at 8pm and ran straight through until midnight. On Saturday, three options for youth entertainment were available to everyone, which included Vocal workshops, Scavenger Hunt Challenges and Five a-side Football.
Two stages, Courtyard and Marquee, were opened in a similar set-up as last year. Many famous bands came onto the stage and give excellent performances. The artists and bands included: One Hundreds Hours, Supervision, Bryn Haworth, Cathy Burton, Mowglee, Exalt, Neil Alton Band, Acquitted, Plan [a], Supernatural Sundaes...
An important aspect of H3 is that it appeals to all ages. It is equally open to grandparents, parents and children. The H3 Festival received very positive feedback and in particular the children's activities were a success and greatly appreciated over past years. Last year children enjoyed the face painting so much, that this year the face painting was provided free by volunteer helpers from St. Mary's, Bletchley.
Throughout the H3 Festival, participants enjoyed the Christian music in an informal environment, which created an environment where non-Christians would also feel welcome and not intimidated. Music is a great catalyst to open people’s hearts, through gospel music, the messages and culture of Christianity can be planted in their hearts.
