"Mass Effect: Andromeda" won't be out until next year, but more details about the upcoming BioWare title have started to come out this week. The latest reports have some new information about the game's characters, and now, the Ryder siblings' teammates' names have been revealed.

Eurogamer has the scoop on the four "Mass Effect: Andromeda" squadmates, and they are Liam, Cora, Peebee, and Drack.

Liam is described as a human being and is one of the game's starting squadmates. Just like the main characters, he arrived in Andromeda aboard the human ark, Hyperion. He was a cop in his former life, and now, Liam provides security for the Pathfinder team. The character is said to have a British accent and is described as being "youthful, enthusiastic and idealistic," He is also said to be upbeat, but has a short temper.

Cora is another human who is also a starting team member in "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Last year, a leaked marketing survey described the character as someone could deploy a biotic shield.

Meanwhile, Peebee is an asari, and she joins the team after an early encounter with Ryder in "Andromeda." The character arrived via the Nexus, which made the journey to the Andromeda galaxy before the four ark ships. Peebee is said to be independent and fast-talking, with an interest in alien civilizations.

As for Drack, he is said to be a krogan squadmate who has a loyalty mission involving a lost ship of krogan who players have to save in the game.

It is expected that more squadmates will be revealed in the days leading up to the game's release date. Though it is unclear how many characters will be joining the Ryders in the game, it is speculated that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have fewer than 10 squadmates. It is likely that more characters will be unveiled when BioWare releases brand-new gameplay footage at The Game Awards on Dec. 1.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is slated to be out in the first quarter of 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
