It was announced last summer that Michael Beach will appear in the third season of "The 100," and now, the "Sons of Anarchy" alum's role in the series has finally been revealed.

During the show's panel at the recently concluded Dragon Con 2015, actor Ricky Whittle described Beach's character as "a tough and charismatic member of the Ark with a staunch moral code." Whittle, who portrays the role of Lincoln in the series, also shared how Beach's character will affect the teens when the post-apocalyptic drama returns for season 3.

"He's a bit of an antagonist and he's bringing incredible power to a character that is going to tear the screen up," the actor said during the panel interview that he attended with cast mates Richard Harmon and Christopher Larkin. "He's going to upset a lot of people. Hopefully, in a good way, he's going to upset a lot of you. He's not there to play nice, so look forward to his character. Mike Beach is a great addition."

Whittle also said that Beach is an "incredible man" who is a great pleasure to work with.

Beach is known for portraying the role of former Grim Bastards Motorcycle Club president T.O. Cross in the "Sons of Anarchy" series. He also appeared in a recurring role as Colonel Abraham Ellis in "Stargate Atlantis."

But Beach is not the only adult who will be introduced in the third season of "The 100." Back in August, it was revealed that "Desperate Housewives" star Brenda Strong will join the cast of the show as the Ice Nation's leader known as Queen Nia. Harmon and Whittle both described the actress during the Dragon Con 2015 panel as someone who is "definitely strong."

Actor Neil Sandilands is also confirmed to be joining the show as a new Grounder adult named Titus, who is allegedly determined to protect the Grounder civilization against those who are planning to disturb them.

"The 100" is set to return on The CW sometime in March 2016.
