Fans who have a lot of questions about the first season of "13 Reasons Why" will get their answers in the next one, according to newcomer Anne Winters, who will be playing a cheerleader named Chloe. She recently opened up about what to expect when the show returns.

The actress did not give too much away, but she offered some insights on how Netflix's breakthrough series will handle rape culture as teased this past summer.

"It's such an interesting topic because, I mean, the people [in the show] who are doing wrong maybe don't even understand that it is wrong, and the people that are going through it are thinking, 'Is this wrong?''" she told Flare. "This season will explore a little of those gray areas — it's not as black and white as last season."

Showrunner Brian Yorkey did previously tease that "13 Reasons Why" season 2 will feature some new context on the events that happened in the past to fill in the gaps in everyone's understanding of what Hannah Baker's (Katherine Langford) life was.

Winters elaborated on this, saying: "When people raise the question of, 'Well wasn't it her fault that she did this or that?' this season shows a different take on it." The new season will delve on the characters' behaviors and the reasons behind their actions.

Officially announced back in August, Winters is one of the newest faces fans will see in season 2. The "Tyrant" star will be introduced as It-girl Chloe who will replace Jessica (Alisha Boe) as the head cheerleader of Liberty High. Other newcomers include Allison Miller, Bryce Cass, Kelli O'Hara, Chelsea Alden, Samantha Logan, and Ben Lawson.
