As Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard are highly anticipating the arrival of their first child, these parents-to-be have been making the necessary preparations, especially when it comes to reaching out to God during the labor and birth delivery stages, as reported by E! Online.

Duggar from TLC's reality show "19 Kids and Counting" had gotten pregnant only weeks after exchanging vows with Dillard. As they made a promise to accept all the children that God provides them, they have now taken to writing Bible verses that will offer them support and encouragement as they prepare for Duggar's labor and delivery.

Last Sunday, the reality TV star took to Instagram and shared a photo of herself and her 25-year-old husband with the caption: "Writing out bible verses for encouragement during pregnancy, labor and delivery!"

The photo shows the Christian couple rewriting verses coming from the books of Deuteronomy and Isaiah. They had also written down several lines from the book of Psalms, and highlighted lyrics to songs such as "I Will Serve Thee" and "How Great Is Our God" on paper.

Duggar and Dillard have already emphasized their plans of passing on their own beliefs to their future children, and allowing them to grow up within a Christian environment. The couple also plans to deliver their first baby at home, with the aid of Duggar's mother Michelle and sister Jessa, both of whom also star on "19 Kids and Counting." Jessa also happens to be a midwife-in-training, which her pregnant sister expects to be quite helpful in her upcoming birth delivery.

"Well, ultimately, we want to be an example for them," Dillard said, referring to his plans for their future children. "For a daughter, I want to show her how a man should treat her, just like Jill's dad did for her. And just be the best dad I can to both my sons and daughters and really purpose to teach them the Word of God early on and pray that they will come to the Lord early in life."

Duggar herself also mentioned how excited she is in becoming a parent for the first time.  Moreover, she emphasized the importance of leading by example, such as in committing to a devout marriage, in order to let their children know how important it is to fear God and serve one another.
