Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) will be taking life a little more seriously this sixth season of "2 Broke Girls." Fans can look forward to two things in the newest season of the series: Max's elusive mom and Caroline's life story in a movie.

"2 Broke Girls" follows the funny mishaps that Caroline and Max get into day-to-day in trying to get their cupcake business – Max's Homemade Cupcakes – a big break to recover from being the broke girls that they are in Brooklyn. But according to FX News Call, the series will be adapting a more serious theme in season 6.

This stems from the new business that the girls have put up since they saved Han (Matthew Moy) from his gambling debt and became co-owners of the Williamsburg Diner – the dessert bar. The season will tackle Max and Caroline taking more responsibility in running their new business venture.

Meanwhile, two things are anticipated to happen in season 6 of "2 Broke Girls": Max's mom coming to visit and Caroline's true-to-life movie.

Previously in season 5, Caroline signed the rights to her life story so someone could make a movie out of it in exchange for $250,000. Movies that adapt true-life stories aren't always accurate, and with Max and Caroline always seeming to miss out on good luck, will the movie about Caroline's personal experiences be good for them or bad?

If Caroline's life story does come out in a movie, Max will surely be in a good 90 percent of it, which will surely catch her mother's attention. Ever since season 1, Max has always made jokes and comments about how her mother raised her to be the tough woman that she is now, although it isn't always in a good light.

Will Max's mom come to visit her soon? What will their reunion be like?

"2 Broke Girls" season 6 airs every Monday at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
