The WWE hopes to repair broken trust from the WWE Universe fans with the upcoming and first-ever WWE Fast Lane pay-per-view.

It will be recalled that fans were not necessarily happy with the Royal Rumble results which saw Roman Reigns triumph over 29 other wrestlers in the ring. The WWE drew a lot of flak for the ending, a scene which showed the Big Show and Kane turning on each other that allowed Reigns to throw men over the top rope.

It took Reigns' cousin, the Rock to somehow save the day, drowning out the 'boos' that could be heard from the arena. But despite all that, it was clear that Reigns needed a lot of work as far as gaining the full admiration and support of the WWE fans.

At Fast Lane, only a couple of matches have been set thus far. These are the following:

• John Cena vs. Rusev, something that was rumored even before the 2015 Royal Rumble.
• Triple H to face off with Sting. This will not be a match but more of settling an old confrontation that happened during the Survivor Series where the Stinger interfered and allowed Team Cena to grab the victory.
• Paige vs Nikki Bella. Paige is a WWE Diva being given a push and after she and Natalya bowed to the Bella Twins, she goes one on one with Nikki for a chance to win back the WWE Women's championship.

And the rest?

Nothing has been made official but expect Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan to have respective matches too.

Reigns could be facing off with the Big Show, a no brainier if you saw how the former Shield member found himself in an impromptu match after Triple H's controversial speech.

Daniel Bryan, someone who was earlier believed to have a chance to win the Royal Rumble could be facing either Kane or Bray Wyatt. While he has started to feud with Kane already (casket match), Wyatt could be a possible opponent as well.

Wyatt has been given a push lately so between now and Wrestlemania, the Bryan-Kane feud could end up shifting to a Bryan-Wyatt storyline. Either that or possibly a triple threat match one Wrestlemania 31 comes around.
