General Motors is looking to make a big splash in the auto industry with the introduction of their 2016 line of Chevrolet Camaros.

The company introduced the latest line of the muscle car during a recent event in Lansing, Mich., and they even featured a nod to their patriotic roots, showcasing three different colors of the new car in red, white and blue.

The event is particularly significant for General Motors and also for the Chevrolet Camaro brand since this is the first time since 1992 that production of the car has taken place inside the United States, according to USA Today.

Automobile enthusiasts seemingly have a lot to look forward to in terms of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. The 1LT model can reportedly be outfitted with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, or people can also opt for the 3.6-liter V6 variant.

The 1SS variant will feature the 6.2-liter V8 engine.

When it comes to actually driving the new car, fans can reportedly expect an enjoyable and easy experience.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro reportedly offers better steering to drivers, according to Motor Authority, and on top of that, people will also find it easier to control the car whether or not they choose to opt for the automatic or manual models.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro does not look all that different from the most recent release under the same name from General Motors, but its performance has reportedly been improved to a fairly noticeable degree.

Unfortunately, it appears as though people will have to wait just a bit longer before they can try out the newest Chevrolet Camaros for themselves.

Even though numerous cars are already and waiting at production plants, the new model is still not ready to launch just yet.

General Motors said in a statement that the new Chevrolet Camaros will most likely be made available to consumers by mid-November.
