Apple probably knows that it is going to be facing some very tough competition in the highly competitive laptop market, specifically with Microsoft's upcoming Surface Pro 5 2-in-1 laptop. This is most likely why reports are now claiming that Apple could be launching their new 2016 MacBook Pro earlier than expected in order for the company to get a head start against Microsoft.

As of the moment, Apple has not yet provided any official announcements regarding their new MacBook Pro. The device was even expected to be launched alongside the new iPhone, the iPhone 7. Unfortunately, the company did not mention anything about the new laptop during the iPhone's launch, which has left consumers wondering when they would be able to get their hands on the new MacBook Pro model.

According to the latest reports, Apple may be considering an early launch for the new MacBook Pro 2016 laptop. The rumors predict that the laptop could very well be unveiled in October, giving fans a glimpse of the device and hopefully diverting their attention from Microsoft's Surface Pro 5.

As of the moment, there are reports that claim that the new MacBook Pro may be running the current generation Skylake processor. This is, of course, a better overall performer compared to its predecessor, but is significantly weaker than the next generation Kaby Lake CPU.

The upcoming Surface Pro 5 is believed to be sporting the Kaby Lake processor, which means that an earlier release would be an advantage for Apple as compared to them launching the laptop alongside Microsoft's offering next year.

Fans also have a number of reasons to purchase the new MacBook Pro, as it is rumored to be an entirely different laptop from its predecessor. The new MacBook is reportedly going to be even sleeker than the current MacBook Air and more powerful that the current MacBook Pro.
