The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 was expected to have a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 and around 640 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque when it was unveiled during the New York International Auto Show last April. Now, thanks to a leaked order guide, the upcoming Camaro is said to have a 650-horsepower engine instead.

A 100-page order guide was posted and leaked on a fan forum called Camaro6, where the standard and optional accessories for the upcoming Camaro model are mentioned. It is listed to have a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine with an output of 650-horsepower and 650 lb-ft torque, the most powerful engine that the company has ever produced. However, Chevrolet has not yet officially confirmed the engine specs.

The LT4 engine comes with the standard six-speed manual transmission with active rev matching or an optional 10-speed automatic one with paddle shifters. It will also reportedly come with a pack of features that will make one's driving experience truly one of a kind, like the Performance Traction Management, Magnetic Ride Suspension and electronic Limited Slip Differential.

Deceleration will be handled by the six-piston front and four-piston rear large Brembro brakes, which are then attached to a standard 20-inch forged aluminum wheels. To keep the 2017 model of the Chevy Camaro gripping on the ground, Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar summer-only tires are installed.

RECARO performance seats also come standard so its occupants will stay where they should be while driving around, either in or out of the track.

An optional Chevrolet Performance Data Recorder takes note of every driving session and provides the performance level of the car, which can be saved on an SD card and analyzed at a later time. For those individuals who allow others to drive their cars, a Valet Mode can take videos as well, aside from the data.

Apple CarPlay or Android Auto will allow an iPhone or an Android phone to be connected to the infotainment system of the vehicle, which makes it connected to the outside world. Calls, messages music, navigation and a few more can all be accessed while enjoying the pleasures of driving a Camaro.

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 goes on sale later this year in a coupe variant, while a convertible model will arrive early in 2017, Yahoo Tech added.
