Just like its previous events, it is going on the same route starting on the Upper West Side of New York City going to Central Park. It will then head down to Midtown and will be finishing the procession in front of Macy's Herald Square, reports reveal.

As the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Parade is expected to be graced by 3.5 million people, residents of Manhattan can expect heavy traffic. The night before the display, viewers are also welcome to witness the balloon inflation. It will be held across the American Museum of Natural History.

Of course, the annual event will be more colorful with the coming of a number of famous performers like Gwen Stefani, who is set to sing "White Christmas." Patti LaBelle will also join the parade while riding on The Cranberry Cooperative by Ocean Spray float.

The Radio City Rockettes, the Teen Company, and Malloy/CAP21 will be also seen in the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. The event will be hosted by the "Today" anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, and Al Roker.
