2017 Nissan Armada release date: Big body-on-frame SUV with 8,500 pounds of towing capacity to roll out this month

The 2017 Nissan Armada in whiteNissan

The 2017 Nissan Armada is an enhanced big body-on-frame SUV, which makes it more rugged than its predecessors. However, as tough looks alone will not get the job done, it also has the muscle to do some heavy workload with its 390-horsepower engine that can pull anything up to 8,500 pounds, with a Class 2 hitch.

The 2017 Nissan Armada has a 5.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline V8 Endurance engine that has dual overhead cams and a VVEL valve control that makes it economical. It can produce up to 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft. of torque that produce the brute strength to pull almost anything. Its fuel economy is 14/19/16 mpg city/hwy/combined.

It can also adapt fast to any road condition ahead with its all-mode 4WD system. It really does not matter if it is on a concrete road or snow, sand, and dirt. A 7-speed automatic transmission with Tow and Haul mode transfers all the power down to the 18-inch or 20-inch Aluminum-alloy wheels, depending on the model.

The Nissan Navigation System, which comes with an 8-inch touch-screen monitor, dual zone automatic temperature control, Bose Premium audio system with 13-piece speakers, HomeLink universal transceiver, comes standard. Leather-appointed seats, Around View monitor, Intelligent Cruise control, rain-sensing windshield wipers and memory driver seats system are a few of the add-ons.

For those who love adventures on a rugged terrain, the four-camera Around View monitor system is an indispensable tool. It provides a bird's eye view of the surroundings, which is needed for uneven terrain. It is also great when trying to squeeze the 2017 Nissan Armada on a tight parking space, or somewhere that is too close for comfort., ExtremeTech added.

Space is not a problem with the upcoming full-sized SUV. There is plenty of space for people and cargo with its 168.7 cu. Ft. of interior volume.

The 2017 Nissan Armada will be arriving by late summer of 2016 with three variants, namely SV, SL and Platinum.
