2017 Nissan GT-R release date: The latest Godzilla is ready to roll out

The 2017 Nissan GT-R was unveiled during New York International Auto Show last March. Now, the Godzilla is ready to roll out.

The latest Nissan GT-R offers some minor changes both inside and out. The front end had a complete makeover, adding the chrome matte finish signature V-motion grille. It has been enlarged so that the Japanese-made sports car can suck in more air and drive its temperature down. A Titanium exhaust that comes equipped with an Exhaust Sound Control is on the other end, which can be adjusted to be quiet when starting up the engine.

Premium hand-crafted materials will be greeting its occupants once they step inside Godzilla, with its Nappa leather covered dashboard, free from imperfection. Audio controls and navigation have been reduced to make things much simpler and let its driver concentrate on the road ahead, while the 8-inch infotainment system provides all the necessary outside information that one would need.

Owners will truly enjoy its available Recaro leather-appointed front seats, an 11- piece Bose speaker sound system that includes dual subwoofers, re-positioned shift paddles and a much quitter cabin with its new sound absorption materials.

Additionally, the 2017 Nissan GT-R is equipped with several safety features, such as RearView monitor, front and rear sonar sensors, zone body construction, seat belt pretensioners, six air bags and vehicle dynamic control. It will also come with traction control system, anti-lock braking system and an electronic brake force distribution.

Under the hood comes the hand-assembled 3.8-liter Twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 565-horsepower and 467 lb-ft.of torque and paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission system. In can hit 0 to 60 mph within 2.7 seconds, can reach up to 190 mph. and has a fuel efficiency of 16 city/22 hiway mpg.

The 2017 Nisan GT-R becomes available this summer at a starting price of US$109,990.
