2017 Porsche Panamera release date, interior: sheet lifted off anticipated car and everybody loves it

The first generation Porsche Panamera.Porsche

The design of the new gen Porsche Panamera 2017 had been kept under wraps for the longest time. After much speculation, Porsche finally unveiled the Panamera at Berlin on the 28th of June. The sale of the Panamera 2017 begins in November 2016.

The Panamera 2017 will be available in three different models: Panamera Turbo, Panamera 4S Diesel, and Panamera 4S. Automobile enthusiasts are clearly satisfied with what the 2017 versions have to offer. The interiors are loaded with cool features that have upped the ante from Porsche's earlier model.

The first thing you notice as you peek into the new Panamera is the digitization. There are fewer button switches in the instrument panel, giving the car a sleek, suave appearance, even on the inside. The panel now features a couple of 7-inch digital display screens. Sitting between them is the familiar analog tachometer. The center console sports a 12.3 inch screen that operates on capacitive touch technology. The screen can be manipulated and configured by the passenger as well as the driver.

The Panamera 2017 takes care of the little things as well. The doors offer greater storage space, compared to the 2014 version. The earlier model featured a single cup-holder in its center console, while the new model flaunts two.

The Porsche Press Release revealed that the new Panamera also boasts of a thermal imaging camera that makes driving in low-light conditions easier. Another feature that adds to the safety factor is the set of optional LED headlights, which light up objects that your car is likely to hit. This helps you to swerve and avoid potential accidents.

With so many welcome changes to the Panamera's interior, it is no wonder that the big Berlin reveal left Porsche enthusiasts excited and impatient for the day it goes on sale. November certainly couldn't be here fast enough.
