Jaguar Land Rover finally introduced the 2019 Range Rover SV Coupe at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show after releasing a teaser of the model in January. The car is a return to the brand's classic design principles, with a modern and high-tech twist. Only 999 units of the very limited edition model will be made, and their price will match their rarity and design.

When Land Rover says coupe, it does mean coupe, not a car that only looks like one. The SV Coupe is a two-door car, just as the name suggests, although its design borrows from classic Range Rovers. Except for the hood and the rear tailgate, the car's body is made entirely of aluminum.

Potential buyers can also make their units as unique as possible, with 28 paint color combinations for the car's exterior in various finishes. Since only 999 units are set to roll out, it would be hard to spot another SV Coupe that looks exactly the same.

The car's interiors, which can seat four people, are also designed to match the luxury of the exteriors. Buyers can pick the color as well as one of four design themes for the leather-upholstered seats. They can also choose to have one color for all the seats, or two different colors for the front and back seats.

Another special feature in the car's design is the full-length center console, which extends from the dashboard all the way to the back seats. Thus, unlike many other cars, the SV Coupe does not have a single long bench as its back seat. Instead, there are two individual seats, much like the front seats.

The center console is done with wood trimmings, while the dashboard is done in leather. There are two touchscreen displays on the dashboard, and there is also a Meridian 3D sound system. While this car seems enjoyable to drive, it also seems enjoyable to ride in.

At the end of the day, however, it is the engine that can make or break a car. Fortunately for the SV Coupe, Range Rover seems to have given as much thought to function as it did to form, giving the model a V8 engine that generates 557 horsepower. According to Range Rover, the SV Coupe can go from zero to 60 mph in five seconds, with a top speed of 165 mph.

The 2019 Range Rover SV Coupe starts at $295,000 and also comes with Range Rover's optional Care Package, which covers the car's maintenance and service needs for five years. Units will begin to roll out in the United States in late 2018.
