20th Century Fox Partnering with Christian Booksellers

|PIC1|With the success of its debut CBA market release of Frank Peretti's Hangman's Curse DVD into the Christian marketplace in 2004, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s has consistently created and delivered quality, faith-based family film offerings.

The releases include the Hallmark Channel award-winner, Janette Oke’s "Love" series, Mel Gibson's impacting The Passion Of The Christ DVD, film depictions from best-selling novelist Frank Peretti and a catalog of family friendly films such as: Because Of Winn Dixie, Adventures Of Ociee Nash, Billy Graham Presents..., The Bible, The Sound Of Music, The King and I, as well as other vintage favourites.

Word Distribution, a division of Word Entertainment, a Warner/Curb company, has solidified the 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment partnership with CBA retail to create and provide 300 Family Home Entertainment centres to CBA stores nationwide.

Word and Fox provide CBA retail an opportunity to reach further into their local markets and churches through these entertainment centres, to cater even more home entertainment offerings to their consumers' families. With this recent success and national account demand, Word Distribution and 20th Century Fox are set to open additional entertainment centres for CBA retail this year.

"Our partnership with 20th Century Fox has had a major impact at Christian retail," says Laura Neutzling, Word Distribution Vice President of Marketing. "Their commitment to bringing quality family films and new Christian content films has given our retailers a brand new way to broaden their customers' entertainment choices and has provided them with a significant new revenue stream as well. We're excited to present the next phase of that partnership to our Christian retail accounts in the coming months."

20th Century Fox has further partnered with The Parable Group, in support of CBA retail, to create 20,000 Popcorn Bucket premiums to support Parable's "Make It A Family Movie Night" promotion. The promotion delivers a free Popcorn Bucket of goodies to those consumers purchasing any FOX DVD from a Parable store during the promotion period. The promotional plan includes targeted cable, print and radio advertising combined with the large presence in The Parable Group catalogs.

"We’re excited about the positive impact this promotion will have for Parable stores," says Marilyn Largent, Parable Group Executive Vice-President of Wholesale Sales and Marketing. "More importantly, we’re thrilled about the difference these films are making in people's lives. We praise God for the creative, talented people at Fox that have made these films possible."

Coming June 2006, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment releases the End Of The Spear motion picture on DVD, which is a moving and powerful true story of sacrifice, courage and redemption, along with the Mother Teresa DVD, a film that illuminates the life story of Mother Teresa, the selfless missionary who brought hope, love and salvation to the poorest of the poor.

Fans of Janette Oke already anticipate 20th Century Fox's fourth installment, Love's Abiding Joy scheduled to release later in 2006. On the radar, 20th Century Fox's has also announced pre-production developments to produce screen adaptations for select works from Ted Dekker (Three), as well as Francine Rivers.
