25 shot in 48 hours in NYC [VIDEO]: Six dead from gunshots over weekend

Gun violence has been rampant in New York City over the weekend, with over 25 gunshots in the span of 48 hours, leaving six victims dead.

25 people across four boroughs of New York City have been shot within two days since Friday evening.

Tayloni Mazyck, 11, was shot by a stray bullet in Bed-Stuy which has left her paralyzed.

On Saturday night, 15-year-old Sarah Rivera was shot in the leg in Bronx. The teen was pushing a child in a stroller and was running for safety when she was shot in the leg.

In the same borough, Terrance Davis, 24, was shot and killed on Friday night.

Antonio Wilson, 23, was also shot and killed Saturday in Brooklyn's Clinton Hill. Damion Riley, 39, was also shot and killed in East Flatbush.

Damien Powell, 25, was also shot and died in Crown Heights on Sunday.

A shooter also went on a gunfire rampage on Sunday at Propect Lefferts Gardens. Police are looking for Kevon Brown, 30, who reportedly shot 3 people and also fired at cops.

Ivan Martinez, 21, was shot in the head by a gunman in the Bronx on Sunday, according to the New York Daily News. The gunman was a 20-year-old who was with a woman at E. 139th St. near Brook Ave.

There have been around 440 shootings in the city so far this year.
