The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all who would believe in and follow Him to preach the Gospel to all men and make disciples of those who would believe in Him.

While many Christians feel inadequate to do such a task, the great thing here is that the Lord Jesus is no tyrant who enjoys letting His people face hardship with no hope of success.

In fact, the Lord Jesus made it so doable for all of us who believe in Him. This article is written with the hope that all who would read it will believe that they can do it by the grace of God.

Here are a few things Christians should remember when sharing the Gospel to those who don't believe in Christ.

1) We are commanded to preach the Gospel to all with no exceptions

Many Christians think preaching the Gospel is a command given only to those who have a "special calling" or "anointing" or "leading" to do so. Wrong. It's a command given to all who believe in Him.

While that first point is understandable, what many Christians don't understand is that we are commanded to preach the Gospel to all in creation. We are commanded to speak God's redeeming love in Christ to everyone, with no exceptions.

The Lord Jesus said it Himself in Mark 16:15, saying,

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

2) Not everyone will believe

Many Christians feel discouraged from sharing the Gospel, thinking that the people they could share it to just might not believe.

"What if I share and they reject me?" They ask. "What if they don't believe the Gospel?"

The Lord Jesus Himself said we should just focus on preaching the Gospel to all. We can't force people to believe in Christ; our job is only to preach to people about Him.

Jesus said in Mark 16:16,

"He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."

3) Signs and wonders will follow those who believe

Many Christians find it impossible to share the Gospel. Even more find it hard to believe that God could do miracles. Well, the Lord Jesus said that if we believe, signs and wonders will follow us:

"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." (Mark 16:17-18)

These signs and wonders are but a confirmation that He is with us as He promised:

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen." (Matthew 28:18-20)
