5 Seconds of Summer is planning to stay longer in the music industry, longer than five seconds of fame, that is. The boyband has reached stardom in Australia and around the world effortlessly, and they are not stopping anytime soon. In fact, 5SOS is already gearing up for their second album, and based on the latest updates, it's going to be massive.

According to recent reports, the second 5SOS album will feature tons of collaborations with musicians and songwriters, one of which is John Fieldmann, who has worked with the band on their debut album as well. Fieldmann was a huge part of "Kiss Me Kiss Me" and "Long Way Home" and other 5SOS hits. Further, he has worked with artists like Ashley Simpson, The Used, Good Charlotte, Showoff, and My Chemical Romance.

Talking to Buzzfeed, Fieldmann shared how he met the boys and what he thought about them. He narrated that he met the guys through a friend. And when he met them, he immediately realized that "this is the best pop-punk band I've ever heard."

"They can all sing. The drummer is a better singer than 90 percent of the bands I work with and he's the drummer. 5 Seconds of Summer, they're all really clear on what their job is. Calum is best bass player that 5 Seconds of Summer could ever have. He's a f------- phenomenal bass player. A lot of bands don't have that," he added.

Aside from songwriter Fieldmann, the band is also rumored to be collaborating with songwriter Bonnie McKee for their sexy songs, reports Sugarscape. Further, the same report said that they are currently working with Joel ad Benji Madden of The Madden Brothers. The other artists rumored to be collaborating with 5SOS are Nickelback and Fall Out Boy.

As of the moment, there's still no word about the title, songs and release date of the second album.
