Have you ever felt like you were losing every ounce of strength in your body? Maybe it's because of the endless demands of work, a relationship that's falling apart or a sickness or circumstance that is eating up your health and wellness.

We all have those moments where our strength and energy run dry, and we are left exhausted and overwhelmed by the things that life throws at us. God allows these moments to come to remind us to turn to Him for unfailing strength.

Left to our own preferences, we will most probably try to find ways to work through difficult circumstances. We try to convince ourselves and people around us that we are strong enough to fight battles when in fact we're just losing on the inside.

If you're tired and weary and you're at the end of the rope, there's good news for you: Jesus will grant you strength. The Bible is full of promises and declarations of God being a source of strength to all who put their trust in Him and surrender their lives to Jesus.

When Jesus took to the cross the sin of mankind, He did so because He wanted to fight your battle against sin for you because He knew that left to ourselves, we will fight it of our own accord and will surely lose! When we leave Jesus out of our fights, we're always going to lose in the end, but God's Word promises victory in His name.

The book of Psalms alone is full of scripture about the strength of God that He makes available to all. Here are scriptures from the book of Psalms on receiving strength from God.

Psalm 28:8-9. The Lord is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever.

Psalm 59:16. But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.

Psalm 73:26. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 84:5. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.

Psalm 105:4-5. Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered.

Psalm 118:14. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.

Psalm 140:7. O Lord, my Lord, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle.
