The position of parenting is a blessing wherein one can realize the love and sacrifice of God raising their children. Fathers should remember that their children are not their possession, but gifts from God. As ambassadors sent from God, they should show godly love and discover the image of God in their children. Psalms 127:3-5  Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

Proverbs 23:24  The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him.

Proverbs 20:7  The righteous who walks in his integrity—blessed are his children after him!

1Thessalonians 2:11-12 For you know how, like a father with his children, we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.
