Now that Apple's 9.7-inch iPad Pro was formally launched, consumers are now on the lookout for some cases and accessories for their soon-to-have tablet. There are several of them ready for release with the iPad Pro. A leaked image of a protective case was the one that confirmed the tablet's four-speaker system and the LED flash on the main camera.

Starting with a smaller Smart Keyboard from Apple, it will be ready for pre-order together with the iPad Pro starting on Thursday, March 24 . It costs US$149, less than its 12.9-inch counterpart at US$169 and provides the same functionality. The connection between the tablet and the keyboard is through its Smart Connector port. Hopefully, the smaller keyboard will also provide a comfortable typing experience, similar to the bigger one.

The Apple Pencil is a great addition the new iPad Pro. It is Bluetooth connected, can detect multiple levels of pressure and can be used for up to 12 hours on a single full-charge. It can be used to jot down notes or create intricate artwork. This productivity tool was first introduced with the bigger iPad Pro last year and is already available for US$99. Extra Apple pencil tips can also be purchased for US$19 per 4-pack.

A US$69 Silicone case is also ready to protect the tablet once is rolls out. It is available in 12 different colors and shades, with apricot and mint being the new colors in its lineup. This can be paired with a Smart Cover, with the same color hue, for US$49. Apple stated that the Smart Cover will perfectly work with the magnetic sleep/wake functionality of the tablet and is secured by a metallic hinge.

Other great tools for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, worth US$39, and Lightning to SD Card Camera reader, priced at US$29. These let the user transfer files and photos directly to the tablet. Meanwhile, those thinking of syncing and charging through their MacBook can purchase a Lightning to USB-C cable. A meter long costs US$25 and US$35 for a 2-meter one.

These products are directly manufactured and sold by Apple. There are also third-party accessories in the market. Just to name a few, there's the SPECK Stylefolio Luxury Edition case sold for US$44.95, the GRIFFIN Survivor All-Terrain case for US$79.99 and the ZAGG Slim Book keyboard and detachable case for US$139.99.

There are several more available online.
