ABC wants to kick off the holiday season with a classic animated movie about Charlie Brown hosting Thanksgiving for his friends. ABC said in a statement, "Celebrate the start of the holiday season with a classic half-hour animated Thanksgiving-themed PEANUTS special."

The film "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" was created by Charles M. Schulz back in 1973. Charlie Brown was voiced by actor Todd Barbee and he worked with other voice stars like Stephen Shea, Bill Melendez, Hilary Momberger, and more.

Other than the PEANUTS classic, the first episode of the miniseries "This Is America: Charlie Brown" will also air on ABC. The first episode of the series, titled "The Mayflower Voyagers," is about the Mayflower voyage to the new world. The gang sit down together and discuss the story of the voyagers and the natives and the origin of the Thanksgiving feast. The episode was also created by Schulz and it was released on Oct. 21, 1988.

According to NY Daily News, the "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" and "The Mayflower Voyagers" are must-watch films before Thanksgiving day. Parade and Seventeen also recommend the movie before or during Turkey day.

People who can't watch the movie on Nov. 22 can catch it through Hulu's streaming service. Hulu subscribers can stream "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" and other PEANUTS movies online whenever they want.
