"Battlefield Hardline" updates is mostly centered on the multiplayer aspect. However, those who are new to the game can make the single-player mode a sort of tutorial to familiarize themselves with the game's gameplay and environment. 

Developer Visceral Games made the storyline for the latest title in the "Battlefield" franchise to be a cops-and-robbers drama. Instead of plunging straight into the warzone, hardcore gamers and the developers themselves warn those who are new to the game to make shifts and changes in their game, from invoking mayhem in the streets to using stealth techniques. Even the official Battlefield website came out with single campaign mechanics in a tips and tricks format so that all of the different tactics combined will have newbies conquer the single player theme in no time. 

Use distractions

"Battlefield Hardline" is one of the few games in which players can interact and use their environment to their advantage. Gamers can toss bullet casings to distract foes, especially when they come in groups. An enemy who hears a shell making noise will investigate it, and the player controlling Nick Mendoza, the protagonist in the title, can either knock the foe out from behind or take him down with a silenced pistol. 

Even downed foes can become distractions, as "Battlefield Hardline" is unlike other stealth-focused role playing games where players need to hide bodies. In this game, players can leave dead bodies to serve as trip wires.

Use the scanner

Nick Mendoza's police scanner is very powerful, and most newbies forget it and go straight to the guns. Veteran "Hardline" players say that the scanner can be used to check the area for hostiles, additional places to be investigated, and scope and log evidences. 

Use the badge

One of the ways that hardcore gamers of this title say is the most effective way to level up is to use stealth. Taking out bad guys quietly and non-lethally bags more experience points and in-game cash than with making an arrest with guns blazing. Players can use the badge for a no-fuss takedown instead.
