Given the recent status of the economy, a lot of people are looking for products that are affordable but still efficient at the same time. Because of this, many are being drawn to Acer's affordable laptop. Acer Aspire One Cloudbook costs less than the other laptops in the market, but before you go out and purchase one, here are some things you should consider.

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook is powered by Windows 10. The laptop prices starts around $190 and is available in an 11-inch model with a 32GB SSD and 14-inch for the 64GB SSD model. Both come with a 1.6 Ghz dual-core Intel Celeron N3050 processor and 2 GB of RAM. The 802.11ac WiFi gives great internet connectivity and includes a one year free subscription of Microsoft Office 365 (priced at $70.) Though it may seem like a good deal, the low-price doesn't make up for the performance it gives.

The Cloudbook may have a great hardware but it runs slow. Using multiple applications at a time is a pain. At best, it can run on one or two applications simultaneously, but more than that, you'll be having trouble. But still, there are other things that might just make up for the performance it lacks.

Aside from allowing you to focus on one task at a time, it has a well lit screen that delivers great images. It is light and thin so it makes it easy to carry around in your bag. The keyboard responds well, with its comfortable track pad to match and you can use it for at least 7 hours of work.

It's true that you get what you pay for but given the hardware that it is built with, you just might find good use for it especially if you're only looking for a laptop that can do simple tasks such as working on a few documents, writing emails, and surfing the internet. But if you're looking for better performance, it would be best to spend more at a faster and powerful laptop.
