Acer unveiled its ultimate gaming laptop, the Predator 21 X, during the IFA 2016. Gamers will not only get a 21-inch curved display; it also includes not one, but two powerful NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics cards.

The Acer Predator 21 X is the world's first laptop that offers a curved display. The IPS giant screen offers a 2560 x 1080 screen resolution, which makes it perfect not only for playing one's favorite games, but also for movie watching. It also features Tobii's eye-tracking technology, a full-sized Cherry MX with RGB lighting mechanical keyboard and a modular numerical keypad, which can be turned over and transforms into a touchpad.

It also contains dual-GTX 1080, in SLI configuration and Soundpound 4.2+ (4 speakers and 2 subwoofers) for the audio technology. The gaming laptop brings an advanced cooling system that includes 5 system fans, to make the system work at its peak no matter how heavy the computing load will be. Processor-wise, it will be using the seventh-generation Intel Core chips, as well as four DDR4 memory card slots. This beast can take up to 64GB of RAM, as well as up to four terabytes of SSD storage. Virtual reality aficionados will not have any problem with this machine. It will work perfectly with the HTC Vive or with the Oculus Rift.

Additionally, it also contains an SD card slot, and big see-through windows to show-off one of its illuminated fan. The back end of the machine, by the way, looks similar to the tail end of a sports car, where all the exhaust comes out.

The Acer Predator 21 X is not only heavy on the wallet, expected to be close to US$3,000. The refreshed Predator 17 price's starts at US1,6999. It is also heavy physically, weighing in at 8 kg (17.6 lbs.). Each machine will be made to order starting January of next year.
