Adele is sure to give a smash hit performance at Monday night's Grammy Awards 2016 ceremony. The singer only recently released her new album "25" and the British singer has been rumored to be set to sing her second single from the album "When We Were Young". A video of Adele's Grammys performance will be posted below when available, and information on how to watch tonight's Grammy Awards 2016 event can be seen below too.

The British singer will be joined by the likes of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, as well as Kendrick Lamar, Demi Lovato and even Johnny Depp among others.

Adele has been one of the world's biggest music stars since her debut album, "19", launched in 2008. In 2009 she received the Grammys for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Her second album, "21", was launched in 2011, and was an even bigger smash hit than her debut album, and cemented the singer as one of the most recognizable voices and stars in the music industry. She won six Grammys in 2012, including Album of the Year, as well as two Brit Awards, and three American Music Awards.

Album "21" went on to become the longest-running number one album by a female solo artist in the history of the UK and US album charts.

Adele went on to take a three year break, but towards the end of 2015 she released her third album, again to high critical acclaim, titled "25". The album broke first week sales records in both the US and UK, and debuted at number 1 in album charts around the globe.

The lead single on the album, "Hello", became the first song in the US to sell over one million digital copies within a week of its opening.

The Grammys 2016 main ceremony has a scheduled start time of 8 p.m. ET, and is set to open with a big performance from the hugely popular Taylor Swift. She is set to open up the show with some songs from her 1989 album, which is up for Album of the Year.

Swift, who is also nominated for Record of the Year for "Blank Space", has been in the news in recent days not for her own songs, but because of controversial lyrics in Kanye West's new song "Famous".

In that song, West calls Swift the "B" word as well as talks about having sexual relations with the singer - all this despite the fact that West is married to Kim Kardashian, and has two young children himself.

Adele's new album "25" is not up for the Album of the Year Grammy tonight as it was not released in time to be eligible for this year's awards ceremony.

Despite that, Adele's album is one of the most talked about albums in recent months, and the 10 time Grammy award winner is likely to belt out her recently released second single from the album, "When We Were Young."

Another singer with a new album, who will be performing tonight is Rihanna.

The Barbadian singer released her 8th studio album on February 5 and confirmed last week that she will be performing tonight. For a long time there were rumors that Rihanna would be performing in this year's Grammys as she appeared in a CBS TV promo last month for the awards show.

Lady Gaga will be performing a seven minute tribute to the late British legendary singer David Bowie. Gaga's song "Til It Happens to You" has been nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media, and her Bowie tribute tonight is sure to be one of the most talked about performances of the night.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber will be taking to the stage with Diplo and Skrillex, with the trio set to perform their hit single "Where Are U Now" - which is up for the Best Dance Recording award.

Monday night's Grammy Awards 2016 ceremony will be hosted by LL Cool J, and can be watched on TV live on the CBS network from 8 p.m. ET, or online through live stream by clicking here.
