"Agent Carter" fans are looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and expecting a lot of new developments when the show comes back for its second season.

Earlier this month, it has been reported that Jarvis (James J. D'Arcy) and Agent Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) are joining Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). Now, it has been confirmed that Chad Michael Murray, who plays Agent Thompson, has officially signed for season 2.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producers Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas shared what's in store for the ABC show for the upcoming season. One of the changes that will be featured in the show is the setting, as Agent Carter is headed for Hollywood.

Fazekas said that Peggy will still be working for The Strategic Scientific Reserve, but the setting will bring a lot of glamour to the story.

Butters said, "You're dealing with Old Hollywood, but also, it's weirdly the kind of place where [there's] a burgeoning scientific community — you had JPL back then and the nuclear testing in the desert."

And because the two like having Peggy and Jarvis work together, they revealed that the latter will also be in Los Angeles, but he won't be working as an agent since the case from the first season is over. Also, this time around, he won't be looking out for Peggy under Howard Stark's (Dominic Cooper) orders.

"It's a little different this time," said Fazekas. "She's not working for Howard in this regard. The nice thing about Peggy this season is that she's not having to hide her agenda from the SSR guys."

And because she's in Hollywood, fans should expect that Peggy will get mistaken for an actress.

"She takes it as an insult," said Fazekas.

As for new threats in season 2, Fazekas said that fans of the Marvel comic book universe will recognize the villain, and there will be more than one of them that Peggy will have to deal with.

"We're certainly taking inspiration from the comic book universe, so anybody who knows that will be rewarded," she said.

"Agent Carter" will return midseason on ABC.
