Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) will decide to help Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) to look for information on how to get back to the portal in the upcoming episode of the ABC series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

In "Chaos Theory," Comicbook reports that after Simmons got back from being stranded in another planet, she has no other thoughts but to reopen the passage.

Last episode, Fitz agreed to help her after he learned of Will (Dillon Casey), the NASA scientist who was still marooned. Simmons told him he did not have to, considering that he would be helping her boyfriend. Hunter (Nick Blood) likewise thought they should not rescue Will, but Fitz was adamant.

When they realized that rebuilding the monolith was not feasible, the pair would have to think of a different way to reopen the portal. Fitz admitted he has run a dozen of simulations, but all failed. Before the episode ended, he could be seen still hard at work in his computer. But viewers also saw that he was conducting an investigation regarding Will. What will Fitz find about the man who purportedly saved Simmons? Will they succeed in rescuing him?

Meanwhile, Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) and the team are still protecting the Inhumans from the rogue who was bent on killing them. In the upcoming episode, they will finally learn the identity of this villain. Last week, May (Ming-Na Wen) was horrified to find out that Andrew (Blair Underwood) was the human alter ego of Lash (Matthew Willig). She chose not to divulge the discovery yet to Coulson (Clark Gregg). However, S.H.I.E.LD. was still tailing other Inhumans, as they had no idea that the killer was May's ex-husband. What will they do once the secret is out?
