Agent Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) will soon be over her post-traumatic stress disorder from her harrowing experience in Maveth and reunite with Agent Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) in season3B of the hit ABC series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Henstridge told Entertainment Weekly that fans could expect a reunion for their favorite pair soon. At the moment though, her character is "still in the grieving process," as she comes to terms with the fact the she survived while Will (Dillon Casey), the NASA scientist she had come to love in her brief stay at the other planet, did not make it. The actress said Simmons was experiencing survivor's guilt. While she's taking time to sort her feelings, Fitz is with her every step of the way.

"Fitz has been so supportive throughout the whole thing. She's going further down that path with him and her feelings. She loves him and wants to be with him. She hasn't forgotten about Will, but it's more the guilt she's carrying. They're taking things slowly on whether they're going to get together or not," Henstridge said.

Meanwhile, the second half of season 3 is expected to show how Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) will be dealing with his guilt after killing Ward (Brett Dalton). Gregg has previously revealed that his character will have a number of bouts where he blames himself from giving in to the darkness inside him. Ward murdered Rosalind (Constance Zimmer) and for Coulson, this was the ultimate betrayal of all. Although he could have saved Ward's life back in Maveth, he chose to execute him. His actions will reportedly haunt him for a long time.

Series creator Joss Whedon talked to IGN regarding Coulson's predicament, stating that as much as the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. knows he's wrong, the other agents will not see how his guilt is eating him inside.

"Initially we won't necessarily know how much that has affected him. He definitely crossed a line and he knows this," he said.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will return on March 8 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
