Slingshot aka Yo-Yo Rodriguez (Natalia Cordova-Buckley) may be the first in the string of Secret Warriors to join Daisy's (Chloe Bennet) team in the second half of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Jed Whedon revealed that more characters would be added to the series, particularly in the lineup of the super powered agents in the Marvel Comics Universe. Daisy would reportedly be very busy overseeing the team's training, as well as planning new strategies on how to defeat the old and new villains set to cause chaos.

"Pretty quickly we'll see how the team is being approached and how they plan on managing this. We'll maybe meet some new characters... I can say that we will see more Secret Warriors," the executive producer said.

The inclusion of Slingshot to the Secret Warriors was announced in November of last year. The International Business Times posits that other comic book characters will soon be joining her, enumerating several names that the website wishes to see in season 3B. The first on the list is teleporter/doctor Eden Fesi aka Manifold. His expertise is reportedly very much needed in the team. Eden's ability to appear and disappear at will is going to be a huge advantage. His medical expertise will also come handy.

Next is James Taylor James aka Hellfire, a double agent for the Hydra in the comics. It is possible that the showrunners of the series will show him in a different light, since the betrayal plotline has already been cultivated with Ward (Brett Dalton). There is also Jerry, aka Stonewall, son of the Absorbing Man. Unlike his father, Jerry is no villain. What he does have are Absorbing Man's ability to absorb any element, toughness, and durability. Both characters will be great additions to the crew.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will return on Tuesday, March 8, at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
