Phil's (Clark Gregg) victory leads to the emergence of a new threat in the upcoming episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4.

Titled "The Return," next week's episode will introduce a bigger and deadlier enemy for the team. According to the official synopsis, Phil and the team's victory in the Framework is immediately cut short when a new adversary enters the picture. The team is forced to deal with a new foe before the situation gets further out of hand.

The previous episode saw some members of the team finally escape the Framework. After tricking Mack (Henry Simmons) into joining the mission, Daisy (Chloe Bennet) was able to help Phil, Melinda (Ming-Na Wen), and Jemma (Elizabeth Henstridge) get out through a hidden back door. Unfortunately, Mack (Henry Simmons) decided to stay behind to be with his digital daughter.

Meanwhile, a familiar face is set to make a comeback in the show's finale: Ghost Rider also known as Robbie (Gabriel Luna). TV Line reports that Ghost Rider will come back to help the team in taking down Aida, also known as Madame Hydra (Mallory Jansen), once and for all. The agents must race the clock and defeat her before she can complete her plan of talking over and completely destroying the world.

Luna broke the news of his return to his fans on Tuesday by sharing a photo on Instagram. Sporting Ghost Rider's signature black motorcycle jacket, Luna was all smiles in the photo as he posed with stuntman Eddie Braun. In the caption, Luna revealed that one the most challenging parts of his return was keeping it a secret. "Now that we all know the GHOST RIDER WILL RETURN in the @agentsofshield Finale, I can post this bad ass picture of me chillin' with THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND, Eddie 'Snake River' Braun," the 34-year-old wrote.

The actor also teased one line from Ghost Rider when he returns to the series. "So I hear you have a robot problem...," Luna posted on Twitter Monday.

The fourth season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs every Tuesday at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
