It would only be fitting to see a Marvel-based TV show set the stage for the expected blockbuster showing of Avengers 2: Age of Ultron and Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the perfect stage to make all that happen.

And apparently all that will start this coming Tuesday when ABC starts providing indicators as they set the stage for the Avengers sequel debut on May 1, 2015.

With that said, what do fans have to look forward to? What plots will there be?

One is there is the reported uneasy alliance that between Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Grant Ward (Brett Dalton). Do recall that Ward was found to be a Hydra agent though his performance throughout seemed a bit questionable. In short, there seems to be more than Ward than just being a Hydra agent, one that seems to question why he has a soft spot for Skye (Chloe Bennet)

Nevertheless, Ward's return to S.H.I.E.L.D. could happen though with some doubts as far as loyalty is concerned. But seeing that they may have a common enemy in Calvin Zabo (Kyle Mclachlan) who is pegged to lead a group of organized superhumans, that angle could make sense perhaps for a limited time.

So how does this all pan out in connection with Avengers 2?

It seems that it will all be about S.H.I.E.L.D. The group is certainly sitting on pins and needles right now, something many may recall was the case if you got to see Captain America: the Winter Soldier. Divided as they may seem, it may all boil down to a compromise so that both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the REAL S.H.I.E.L.D. can work out their differences and battle Hydra.

This and more await viewers as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ramps it up leading to Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.
