The Twitter world erupted when Dana White announced in UFC 181 that CM Punk - or Phil Brooks - has just been signed as a UFC fighter. It was official. They signed contracts. Brooks will start training and fight his first fight next year.

CM Punk received quite a number of negative reactions over Twitter, but that didn't hampen his spirit. In fact, he admitted to Kenny Herzog of Rolling Stone that talking to his wife AJ Lee about it was more terrifying.

"After I spoke with Dana and Lorenzo, that's when it got serious and that's when I brought it to her attention. Trust me, whatever nerves I'm gonna have stepping into the Octagon will pale in comparison to the nerves I had when I had to bring this up to my wife. I was honestly terrified," Brooks said. "I don't take no for an answer, she doesn't take no for an answer, and this is something I really wanna do.' Right off the bat she recognized that. She's been around me long enough to know that, ever since the first day I met her, this is something I talked about doing."

Lee wasn't one to dismiss her husband's dreams. However, the Twitter world pales in comparison to the understanding Lee. Many people believe that CM Punk doesn't have any business in the octagon and that other fighters deserve his spot more.

"My only point on that is, "Don't be mad at me, Ben. Be mad at [UFC President] Dana [White]... I'm not gonna deny myself some opportunity because somebody on Twitter thinks I shouldn't have it," Brooks boldy said.

Meanwhile, now that CM Punk is confirmed not to be returning to the WWE, is Lee also leaving? According to Give Me Sport, she might just. Lee has been a three-time WWE Divas Champion. Recently, she dropped the title to Nikki Bella, whom she resents. This shows that Lee has nothing left to accomplish in the WWE.

To add, Lee won the 2014 Diva of the Year and her speech sounded like she was saying goodbye. She said that she'd love to see other divas win the award next year. Further, she said "Three years ago I promised all of you that I would redefine the term 'Diva' and I am very proud to say that I sure have done that."
