Ever since Ami Brown of the "Alaskan Bush People" revealed about her cancer, fans never stopped worrying. Finally, recent reports reveal great news for the Brown matriarch.

In the current issue of PEOPLE, Ami revealed that her health took a turn, which some fans consider a Christmas miracle. New reports indicate that Ami no longer has cancer. This is surprising for many especially that it was previously reported that Ami only had a 3 percent chance of survival.

After months of painful radiation and chemotherapy treatments, Ami got the result of the latest scans on Dec. 21. It appears that she knows that things will have a happy ending.

"I was expecting great news. I could just feel it," Ami said in the interview. She added that the doctors were shocked with the results, showing that all signs of her cancer are gone.

The radiation therapy was very tough for Ami. It was nearly impossible for Ami to eat anything. As a result, she got down to 77 pounds. But today, she already gained weight and is at 104 pounds. Ami could already eat rice, chicken, meatloaf, salmon, and enchiladas.

Ami, who relocated from Alaska to a mansion in Southern California, has been positive about her condition no matter how hard it has been for her. She even said that she wants to be an inspiration to other people who are experiencing the same thing. Ami also remains faithful to God that things will be better.

Back in October, Rain Brown posted an update about her mother's health on her Instagram account.
